Meet Meera

Meera SundararajanB.P.T., MPNZ NZRPPHYSIOTHERAPIST

Meera graduated from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in India with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. She first started her career in India, working at an orthopaedic hospital and in private practice, where she acquired a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Subsequently, she spent more than a decade in Singapore, utilising her expertise in both the public and private domains. She specialised in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, employing evidence-based techniques to enhance recovery from injuries. This involved collaborating with a team of professionals from many disciplines and carefully aiding individuals in resuming their activities and meeting their objectives.

In addition, she has provided her clinical expertise at other private clinics in Auckland. She is a pelvic health physiotherapist, credentialed by Dr Melissa Davidson Pelvic Health Training, and is a member of the Pelvic Health Directory NZ.

She dedicates herself to implementing a diverse array of physiotherapeutic treatments, including exercise-based rehabilitation, manual and mechanical techniques, and electrotherapy modalities, while placing a high value on evidence-based practice. She develops tailored therapy plans for each patient, enabling them to restore and enhance their physical abilities.

Meera speaks Tamil, and outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, cooking, and Carnatic music.
